In a heartfelt call for peace and solidarity, Nene Ofei Tagbaja, Divisional Chief of the Asesewa Division, led hundreds of residents in a Unity Walk on July 1, 2025, declaring that despite the community's diversity, its true strength lies in unity.
The event brought together a wide array of participants - from local leaders and church members to market women and youth - who marched through the streets of Asesewa.
The route stretched from Asesewa Town to Asesewa Senior High School, passed along Principal Street, and concluded at the Asesewa Lorry Station.
Addressing the crowd, Nene Ofei Tagbaja emphasized the urgent need for unity as the foundation of community development. "Today, we demonstrate that despite our differences, our strength lies in unity," he declared, drawing resounding applause.
