President has penned a touching tribute to the leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, following the death of the pontiff.
In a post shared on Facebook on Monday, April 21, 2025, President Mahama expressed his condolences to the Catholic Church, especially Ghanaian Catholics.
The president recalled his interaction with the Pope when he visited with his wife at the Vatican some years ago.
He described the Pope as a humble and compassionate leader whose legacy will continue to inspire generations. "The world woke up to the sad news of Pope Francis' passing.
