An Amansaman High Court has dismissed a bail application by convicted Founder of Heaven Way Church, Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa.
Nana Agradaa appeared before the Amasaman High Court on July 15, 2025, to seek bail pending her appeal regarding her 15 year sentence.
In a video shared on social media, Agradaa's lawyer told the media "We wanted bail pending the appeal and the court did not grant it." Also, in the same video, Nana Agradaa was seen in a brief moment where prison officers had covered her head as they placed the convicted preacher into a vehicle.
Background: In 2022, Agradaa was arrested following allegations of fraud involving some members of her church.
