Charles Owusu, a former independent parliamentary candidate for Nkoranza in the 2024 elections, has slammed the Member of for Assin South, Rev , for failing to present evidence to substantiate his claims of alleged drug trafficking.
According to Charles Owusu, the lawmaker has chosen to focus on media tours to discuss his allegations, rather than making any genuine effort to provide the evidence he claims to possess.
He stated that the lawmaker should have been able to easily provide evidence to support his claims if, in fact, he had the necessary proof. "As a civilian that I am, if I hear something like this, do you think I can publicly come on radio to make such allegations of cocaine trafficking without any evidence?
If the security agencies extend an invite to you, then you should be able to provide evidence to prove your claims but it's as if my brother's media engagements have become more than the evidence he claims to have," he said on Peace FM's Kokrokoo morning show.
