The Inspector General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, was met by a hostile crowd of youth in Bawku when he visited the town on Friday, April 11, 2025.
The incensed crowd expressed their anger in a glaring manner at the sight of the Police Chief, hooting at him as they surged toward his official vehicle, a Toyota Land Cruiser.
As the charged crowd moved toward the vehicle and sensing danger, the IGP's vehicle the driver moved from the scene in an attempt to prevent harm to the vehicle and the IGP.
It is unclear why the agitated youth were so furious with the IGP.
