Ghana's Finance Minister, Cassiel Ato Forson, will this week lead the Ghana team to the 2025 IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C.
This will be the first time the minister will be participating in the meeting since the National Democratic Congress won the 2024 elections.
In a social media post announcing this meeting, Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson indicated that "We are here to tell Ghana's reset story-a story of hard choices, bold reforms, and a firm commitment to rebuilding our economy in a way that is fair, sustainable, and inclusive".
