Deputy Director of Operations at the Presidency, Mustapha Gbande, has claimed that some members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) helped the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win the 2024 general elections.
Speaking in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr FM on Thursday, April 10, 2025, Gbande, who also serves as the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, however, failed to disclose the form in which the support to the party was made. "We have NPP people who have supported us to win these elections," he said.
When asked by the host if he was sure about that, he responded, "Yes, we know them." The outspoken politician added, "We have people who are not political but supported us to win these elections.
We are loyal and committed to all these people.
