Jules-Armand Aniambossou, French Ambassador to Ghana, has been enskinned as the Zosimli Naa (Chief of Friendship) of Tugu in the Tamale Metropolis.
The honorary chieftaincy title, which symbolizes the strong friendship between the French Government and the people of Tugu, was conferred on the Ambassador during a courtesy call on the Chief of Tugu at his palace.
Tugulana Mahama Andani, Chief of Tugu, said the title was in recognition of the significant contributions of the French Government to the socio-economic development of the community.
He mentioned the implementation of a shea processing project, spearheaded by a French-owned financial institution, Advans Savings and Loans, as a testament to the Ambassador's commitment to empowering the people of Tugu.
