Professor Kofi Agyekum, a senior lecturer at the University of Ghana, has cautioned President to call the national security operatives to order before he is accused of condoning illegality.

According to the professor, he believes the president is not in support of the actions of some operatives who are allegedly abusing the authority granted to them.

He warned that if the president remains silent, it could affirm suspicions that he endorses the ongoing illegalities.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo on April 10, 2025, Professor Agyekum referenced a recent incident involving masked officers, believed to be from the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB)-who stormed the residence of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin South, Rev Ntim Fordjour.
