The Tema Metropolitan Health Directorate, in collaboration with the National Malaria Elimination Programme (NMEP), on Wednesday April 9, 2025, commenced registration for the distribution of free, long-lasting, insecticide-treated bed nets.
The exercise is expected to end on April 13, 2025, while the free distribution date will be announced later.

Quartey, Tema Metro Director of Health Service, speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the exercise was free of charge, noting that the public must take advantage of it to avoid going to purchase some after the end of the programme.
