Rashid Pelpuo, Minister for Employment, Jobs, and Labour Relations, has defended President Mahama's decision to suspend post-retirement contracts, emphasising that the move reflects existing laws and regulations.
Speaking on the matter on The Point of View on Channel One TV on Wednesday April 9, Dr Pelpuo highlighted the legal framework governing retirement in Ghana, including Act 766 and PNDC Law 247, which set the retirement age at 60.
