The Ghana Meteorological Agency has issued a weather alert for scattered thunderstorms across parts of southern Ghana today, April 9, 2025.
According to the notice, a rainstorm observed over the southeastern border is expected to move inland, bringing rain, thunder, and strong winds to the Volta, Eastern, and Greater Accra regions early this morning.
The storm system is forecasted to drift towards the Central and Western regions later in the morning.
The alert, which took effect at 7:40 a.m.
