Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have officially released their pre-season itinerary ahead of the 2025/26 football season, which includes a highly anticipated trip to South Africa for the prestigious Toyota Cup against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Porcupine Warriors are expected to regroup on Sunday, July 13, with players reporting for camp as preparations begin in earnest under coach Karim Zito Medical assessments and the first phase of training will kick off on Monday, July 14, as the technical team evaluates the fitness levels of the squad following the off-season break.
Kotoko will then depart Ghana on Tuesday, July 22, heading to South Africa for the much-publicized Toyota Cup clash against Premier Soccer League side Kaizer Chiefs.
The high-profile friendly is expected to provide the Porcupines with a tough test ahead of their domestic and continental campaign.
