Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications, has suggested that allegations made by Rev.
John Ntim Fordjour regarding two aircraft at Kotoka International Airport (KIA) may have been fueled by misinformation from an individual, possibly a supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who alerted Fordjour about the aircraft without verifying the claims. "I suspect that what may have happened is that somebody may have called Ntim Fordjour, perhaps an NPP fanatic, and told him that there were two aircrafts on the tarmac and that they were suspecting, and he also went to town.
He didn't do any checks, nothing," Ofosu stated on Face to Face on Channel One TV on Tuesday, April 8.
To clarify the matter, Ofosu explained that he released a seven-minute video summarizing the findings of state agencies that investigated the allegations.
