The Odumase Police Command has begun investigations into the tragic death of two young men, who were crushed by a limestone tipper truck on the Oterkporlu-Odumase road.
The victims, Wisdom Gbli Horla, 24, a final-year Computer Science student at the University of Ghana, and his cousin, Benedict Gbli, were both active members of the Blockbusters Volleyball Team, based in Asesewa in the Eastern Region.
They were traveling to Odumase for a volleyball match when the accident occurred.
Reports indicate that the two opted to ride their motorcycle instead of taking the team bus provided for their group.
