Member of Parliament for the people of Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, Vincent Ekow Assafuah Esq has insisted that the New Patriotic Party lost the 2024 elections because the party was honest with the people of Ghana.
His conclusion comes on the back of the Environment Minister's acceptance that the Russia-Ukraine war and COVID-19 dealt a major blow on the Ghanaian economy.
In a post shared via social media, he indicated that it is a worry that the people of Ghana did not believe the truth his political party told them but fell for the propaganda which was peddled by the then-opposition NDC.
His post shared via social media read "We were vilified, insulted, called all sorts of names, and voted against not because we failed, but because we chose to be honest with the ordinary Ghanaian.
