Former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo has expressed deep frustration after a scheduled appearance before the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Disciplinary Committee failed to take place on Monday, April 7.

Supporters of the former Deputy Majority Leader had gathered at the party's headquarters in Accra, expecting her to face the committee over comments she made regarding the NPP's performance in the 2024 elections - remarks deemed by the party as a breach of internal communication protocols.

However, upon her arrival at the Asylum Down office, Adwoa Safo was met with the surprising news that the committee was not sitting. "I'm prepared for a committee hearing; I come, and I am told the Committee is not sitting.

So I just packed my bag and went out," she told the media. "As a party, we have to be serious about these things.
