A manhunt is still ongoing for the alleged mastermind behind a sophisticated counterfeiting syndicate busted in Sapeiman, a suburb of Accra, in February.
Richard Jakpa, Director of Special Operations at the National Security Secretariat, shared this update during an exclusive tour of the crime scene.
The operation uncovered overwhelming evidence, including ten 40-foot containers filled with counterfeit Ghana cedi and US dollars.
However, two containers were moved just before the bust.
