New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Director, Richard Ahiagbah, has criticised Government Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu for his handling of issues surrounding the alleged smuggling of drugs and cash into the country, describing his approach as "inappropriate" and beyond his scope.

Speaking on Channel One TV's The Big Issue on Saturday April 5, Ahiagbah stated:"I am saying that he is getting into a domain way above his pay grade.

He should stay back in speaking for the government." He argued that it is the responsibility of the security agencies-not political appointees-to provide clarity on the matter. "It should be that the security agencies, they should tell us," he added.

Ahiagbah also referenced Ghana's historical challenges with drug-related issues, citing a 2010 report published by Foreign Policy in Focus. "Never forget the historical happenings that had to do with drugs and the proven evidence.
