Rev John Ntim Fordjour, MP for Assin South and Ranking Member on Parliament's Interior and Defence Committee, has denied claims that he was invited by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) through Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin.

His response follows comments by Minister of State for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, who alleged that the NIB had reached out to Fordjour via Afenyo-Markin for questioning.

Speaking on Citi FM's Eyewitness News on Friday, April 4, Fordjour flatly rejected the claim: "It is a lie.

It is a lie because MPs are not invited to NIB through their leaders.
