Minister of State for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has accused Ranking Member on the Defence and Interior Committee of deliberately misleading the public to undermine the government.
According to Kwakye Ofosu, President John Dramani Mahama had invited Rev.
Ntim Fordjour to provide evidence to security agencies to substantiate his claims regarding money laundering and drug trafficking.
However, according to him, the MP allegedly evaded accountability by shifting responsibility, claiming that his remarks were made on behalf of a committee and did not reflect his personal views. "He knew he was peddling total falsehoods and lies," Kwakye Ofosu stated, adding "After being invited to assist with investigations, he now claims that the views he expressed were not his personal opinions.
