The Northern Regional Minister, Mr Ali Adolf John Nburidiba, has urged the youth in the region to desist from misusing social media to foment troubles in the area.
He said the idea of social media was meant to create fun and links to new friends but not to use it to foment troubles.
The minister noted this here at Jubilee Park in Tamale at this year's Eid-ul-Fitr prayer on Monday.
He told the Muslim Ummah to use the lessons learnt for 30 days of fasting to "clean themselves" to lead a good lives that would champion the development of the region.
