Toulouse FC sporting director Viktor Bezhani believes new signing Abu Francis brings the ideal blend of attributes needed to thrive in Ligue 1 after completing his â¬2.5 million move from Cercle Brugge.
The Ghana international became the club's third capture of the summer transfer window on Wednesday, adding competition and depth to the midfield at the Stadium de Toulouse.
Welcoming the 24-year-old to the club, Bezhani praised Francis' profile and expressed confidence in his ability to adapt quickly to French football. "We are very pleased with Abu's arrival in our squad," he said. "He is a very versatile midfielder â aggressive defensively while also being able to dictate the tempo of the match offensively.
Physically, his box-to-box profile is ideal for a championship as competitive and demanding as Ligue 1." Francis arrives with experience from Denmark's FC Nordsjaelland and over 60 Belgian Pro League appearances for Cercle Brugge.
