The Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, Manish Gupta, has applauded the media for its roles in ensuring that the longstanding relationship between his home country and Ghana have remained strengthened.
He also showed his appreciation to the media for their coverage of the recent visit of the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, to Ghana in July 2025.
Manish Gupta said this when he met with some media managers and journalists to strengthen bilateral relations between the commission and its media partners in Ghana.
Held at the residence of the High Commissioner in Accra, High Commissioner Manish Gupta highlighted the strengthening of bilateral ties between India and Ghana, as well as the plans to deepen cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, agriculture, health, security, defense, and information technology, among others. "We are two democracies, who are talking to each other and we want to take this relationship to greater heights.
