The National Chief Imam has called on Muslims to uphold discipline and eschew lawlessness as they celebrate the 2025 Eid-ul-Fitr festival.
Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, is a significant occasion for the Muslim community, symbolizing gratitude, renewal, and spiritual reflection.
However, the Chief Imam has stressed the need for responsible celebrations.
Speaking at the event, the Spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, relayed the Chief Imam's message, urging Muslims to uphold the values of decency and order. "Non-Muslim onlookers who want to see the beauty of our tradition and culture on a day like this, Chief Imam said we as Muslims do not condone indecency, indiscipline-disregard for the law and our land.
