Nii Kpakpo Samoa Addo has emphasized the need for a review of the process used to determine a prima facie case in the removal of a Chief Justice.

The legal practitioner and member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), said this during an interview on Asaase Radio, arguing that the current system lacks clear guidelines and often appears arbitrary.

He defended the President's handling of the matter, stating, "The criticism that at no material time he had any intention of giving her an opportunity to be heard is not founded.

If the Chief Justice has been given the opportunity and the president has responded and attached the necessary copies of the petition, clearly, it cannot disclose an intention not to give her the copies of the petition." Samoa Addo also urged Ghanaians to exercise patience when legal actions are taken, noting that they play a crucial role in refining the judicial process. "Sometimes, let us have a bit of patience when people decide to go to court.
