Global Media Alliance's YFM and BBC World Service have announced a strategic partnership to deliver BBC World Service's news programme 'The World in 2 Minutes' to listeners on YFM.
The program will air across YFM's stations in Accra (107.9FM), Kumasi (102.5FM), and Takoradi (97.9FM) - collectively known as the Y Triangle - starting March 31, 2025. "The World In 2 Minutes" will broadcast hourly from 6AM to 6PM each day, providing listeners with succinct updates on major global developments.
This collaboration aims to enhance news accessibility for YFM's audience while maintaining the station's dynamic and youth-oriented programming.
