The three petitions submitted to President , seeking the removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo, have reportedly not been sent to her for review.

Under Article 146 of the 1992 Constitution, Torkornoo was expected to receive copies of the petitions.

However, according to Accra-based Asaase Radio, she has yet to receive them, despite the petitions being forwarded to the Council of State.

This development has reportedly sparked discussions within judicial circles as stakeholders await the outcome of the President's consultation with the Council of State.
