Renowned lawyer Samuel Atta Akyea has accused the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) of preventing him from properly interrogating his clients, Kwabena Adu-Boahene, former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), and his wife, Angela Boateng, following their arrest.
According to Atta Akyea, Adu-Boahene was arrested on Thursday, March 20, while his wife, Angela, was picked up the following day when she voluntarily walked into EOCO's offices to check on her husband. "A common thief will run away after her husband has been arrested.
She will not walk into harm's way.
They have since been incarcerated," he said.
