Canadian-Ghanaian defender Kwame Awuah delivered a standout performance on Friday night, registering a slick assist in Loudoun United FC's narrow 3-2 defeat to FC Tulsa in the USL Championship at ONEOK Field.
Awuah, who played the full 90 minutes, threaded a clever through ball to Riley Bidois in the 14th minute, putting Loudoun ahead early.
His energy and control on the left flank earned praise from Loudoun fans, who have seen him grow steadily this season with 18 appearances, one goal, and now two assists.
After a 1-1 first half, Loudoun reclaimed the lead in the 67th minute through Yanis Leerman, but Tulsa hit back hard.
