Newly appointed Administrator of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), Michael Harry Yamson, has assured Ghanaians of his ability to successfully manage the fund, citing his vast experience in handling significantly larger budgets.

Speaking during his vetting by the Appointments Committee of Parliament, on Thursday, March 20, 2025, Yamson emphasized that his background in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and telecommunications sectors has prepared him for the role.

He stated that in his previous roles, he managed budgets far exceeding the size of the DACF. "I have tremendous experience.

I have managed budgets three times the size of this fund and done so successfully," he told the committee.
