The Minister of Health, , has disclosed that the government will begin prioritising the completion of Agenda 111 hospital projects that are over 80% complete.
Providing updates in the health sector during the Government Accountability Series on Friday, July 18, 2025, Akandoh stated that the government will prioritise the use of domestic funding to complete Agenda 111 hospital projects that are over 80% complete.
Akandoh also indicated that further decisions regarding the Agenda 111 hospital projects will be made after the conclusion of a forensic audit currently underway.
He emphasised that the audit's findings will guide the government's next steps in completing the stalled projects. "At the moment, AESL is conducting audits on all the Agenda 111 projects, so, we wait for the comprehensive report to guide us going forward.
