The Minority in Parliament has stated that while it is not against accountability, it is opposing what it describes as intimidation tactics through the use of state security apparatus.
These concerns emerged after the Minority in Parliament vehemently criticized the recent raid on the private home of former Bank of Ghana Governor, Dr.
Ernest Addison, by National Security operatives, labeling the operation as an abuse of power and a danger to democratic principles.
The raid, which occurred on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, was allegedly led by Richard Jakpa, the Director of Special Operatives at the National Security Ministry.
