The lead suspect in the Ahmed Hussein-Suale's killing incident, Daniel Koranteng, also known as Nana Amakye, has denied allegations that he sold photographs of the slain investigative journalist to the former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, , before Suale's murder in 2019.

The thirty-five-year-old businessman, Koranteng, who has been remanded in custody by the Madina District Court, faces provisional charges of murder.

Prosecutors claim that he played a role in Suale's killing, referencing call records and his presence near the journalist's residence at the time of the murder. "Call records placed the accused at Madina, near Suale's residence before and at the time of the murder," the prosecution stated.

According to a report by adomonline.com, the suspect Koranteng rejected claims of providing photographs of the deceased to , despite admitting he knew Suale, had visited Agyapong, and had taken photos with the journalist. "He admitted knowing the deceased, visiting , and taking photographs with the deceased but denied selling the photographs to anyone," the prosecution revealed.
