A shocking 38 National Democratic Congress (NDC) Members of were absent in the chamber when the Minister of Finance presented a paper on March 18, 2025.
This prompted Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin to claim that they had abandoned their duties to seek positions at Jubilee House.
He also raised concerns about the administration's priorities and the accountability of its officials.
According to him, the absence of the NDC MPs is not an isolated incident, as they are known to attend only on ceremonial days.
