The chief of Armaahman in the Ga South municipality, Nii Armaah Kwafio II has expressed disappointment in the handling of land-related cases by the Accra Regional Polie command.
Armaahman and Ashifra communities have been in a protracted land dispute but on February 28, 2025, the Amasaman High Court presided by Justice Alexander Graham issued a verdict in favor of the Armaahman community.
Unhappy with the judgement, the other party allegedly visited mayhem on residents of Armaahman residents with Asafoatse Armah and Nii Okoe sustaining injuries.
Speaking on the development, the Nii Armaah Kwafio II appealed to the newly installed Inspector General of Police, Christian Yohuno to intervene and ensure that the verdict of the Amasaman High Court is respected.
