President , Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, has expressed his profound gratitude to the former Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the new IGP, COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, President Mahama praised Dr Dampare for his unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to national security. "Dr Dampare has served the nation with dedication and commitment, and his contribution to law enforcement and national security will not be forgotten.
We thank him for his service and wish him well in his future endeavors," he stated.
Dr Dampare's tenure as IGP marked a significant shift in the ethos of the Ghana Police Service.
