The newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP), COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has said that professionalism, transparency and accountability will underpin his leadership to meet the aspirations of the people.
He assured that fostering peace and security in the country is his major priority as the new IGP.
Speaking after his swearing-in on Friday, March 14, he said "I will approach my new role with utmost seriousness fully aware of the responsibilities." President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn in Commissioner of Police (COP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno as Ghana's new Inspector General of Police (IGP).
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Jubilee House, following the revocation of the appointment of former police chief, Dr.
