President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn in Commissioner of Police (COP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno as Ghana's new Inspector General of Police (IGP).
The swearing-in ceremony took place on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Jubilee House, following the revocation of the appointment of former police chief, Dr.
George Akuffo Dampare.
COP Yohuno's appointment was announced in a press release signed by the Presidential Spokesperson and Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
