Ashanti regional task force of the National Democratic eeCongress (NDC) are demanding jobs from their party leadership.
According to them, they were promised jobs during the campaign and therefore expect that since the political party has won, they will be provided with them.
Addressing the media, members of the task force indicated that they were told that then NDC can win the 2024 election only if they improve their lot in the Ashanti region. "Our leaders told us that they needed 29% in the Ashanti region so we formed the task force in all constituencies.
We worked with our money, strategy and brain to ensure that we get the needed results.
