Minister for Finance, Dr.
Cassiel Ato Forson, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to implementing the much-discussed 24-hour economy policy, stating that it will soon be formally presented to Parliament. "The Mahama-led NDC government is committed to the pursuit of the 24-hour economy policy," he declared on Tuesday, March 11, during the presentation of the 2025 Budget Statement.
Dr.
Forson emphasized that the policy is designed to boost economic productivity by encouraging businesses to operate around the clock, ultimately creating more job opportunities and fostering sustainable economic growth. "This initiative aligns with our broader agenda of enhancing economic opportunities and ensuring inclusivity in employment," he explained.
