The Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi, , has urged the government to take tough economic decisions while it is still 'basking' in the goodwill of Ghanaians.
Speaking about his expectations of the 2025 Budget on GHOne TV, on March 10, 2025, the former Minister of Works and Housing advised the ruling NDC government not to be carried away by the euphoria of the 2024 Election victory.
He indicated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) lost support of Ghanaians when economic conditions took a downward turn. "When we went on and the economic conditions were biting, we lost a lot of the goodwill.
I am hoping that the government will be able to channel its goodwill into doing the difficult things early enough and not just bask in its euphoria that people are happy with them," he said.
