The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) has announced a series of stakeholder and public engagements as part of its efforts to gather nationwide input on proposed amendments to Ghana's Constitution.

These engagements will include targeted consultations with experts and organizations, as well as open forums for the general public at zonal locations across the country.

To facilitate a structured review process, the CRC is inviting written submissions from thematic experts, public institutions, professional bodies, trade unions, civil society organizations, and political parties.

These submissions will focus on key thematic areas, including: Lands and Natural Resources Decentralization, Local Government, and Chieftaincy Public Services and Enterprises The Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary Independent Constitutional Bodies Political Parties and Governance Structures Social and Economic Rights, National Development Policy, and Discretionary Power Submissions on these topics must be received by March 20, 2025, with specific deadlines for each category.
