Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, has urged the president of Ghana to re-employ Ghanaian health workers who have been sacked to occupy the various agenda 111 hospitals.

According to him, some of the hospitals are ready and fully equipped to be operational, and therefore it behoves on the president to ensure that they are operationalized.

The legislator made this call when he visited the Oforikrom District Hospital, which has been completed and furnished with the needed machinery to make it functional.

He is of the view that the president was voted into power to fix the country and not lament over problems he was voted for to fix.
