The former Chief Executive Officer of the State Transport Corporation (STC), , has shared the reasons for the (NPP) 's absence and non-participation in the ongoing National Economic Dialogue organised by the government.

Addressing lingering questions on the minds of many Ghanaians regarding their absence, explained that the NPP saw no reason to participate in the two-day National Economic Dialogue when the same government had previously accused the party of mismanaging the economy.

The party stalwart was of the view that a party accused of mismanaging the economy has no great ideas to offer and cannot provide solutions on how to resolve the issues facing the country.

He stated that the government erred in leveling such grievous accusations against their party. "When you listen to President Mahama and the Minister of Finance, they blamed the economic mess on the NPP, accusing us of mismanaging it.
