Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the violent scenes that marred the Ablekuma North parliamentary rerun held on July 11, 2025.
This comes after Deputy National Organiser of the NPP, Chris Asamoah, and Minister Hawa Koomson were physically attacked at the St Peter's Society Polling Station in Odokor.
Eyewitnesses say the assailants arrived in a pickup truck, overpowered police officers, and stormed the polling station.
The suspects, Musah Muntari, 46, and Ali Saeed alias Mboma, 43, are currently assisting police with investigations.
