The staff of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) in the Western North Region have been tasked with approaching this year with seriousness through intensive media engagement and community outreach exercises.
Gordon Amoh Boahen, the Western North Regional Director of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), stated that this initiative would help expand the Scheme's access to citizens and support the country in achieving Universal Health Coverage.
He made these remarks at the 2024 Annual Performance Review meeting of the NHIS in Sefwi-Wiawso.
Boahen also urged the staff to work as a team and put in more effort in their daily operations to enhance the region's membership mobilisation drive.
