Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame A Plus, has criticised the construction of the Hajj Village project, arguing that Ghana has more pressing national priorities.
His comments come in response to government assurances that no taxpayer money is being used for the facility.
In a post shared on his Facebook page on March 3, 2025, A Plus expressed strong opposition to the project, questioning why resources were being allocated to a facility that benefits only a segment of the population while critical projects like the Agenda 111 hospitals remain unfinished. "We have critical projects like the Agenda 111 hospitals.
