Residents of the Amutinu/Salakope electoral area in the Ketu South Municipality have raised serious concerns about tidal waves threatening to submerge the Keta-Aflao main road.
They lament the ongoing coastal erosion along southern Volta and its devastating impact on their livelihoods.
During a visit to the affected area with NADMO officials, Volta Regional Minister James Gunu reaffirmed the government's commitment to addressing the crisis.
In an interview with Channel One News, Sylvester Kumawu, the Assembly Member for Amutinu/Salakope, highlighted the severe accommodation challenges faced by displaced residents.
