Finance Minister, Cassiel Ato Forson, has assured citizens that the upcoming 2025 budget will be a blueprint for economic growth, development, and expanded opportunities for all Ghanaians.

In a Facebook post marking the 10-day countdown to the budget presentation on Tuesday, March 11, the Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam MP reiterated the government's commitment to economic resilience, social progress, and shared prosperity. "As we enter this final phase of preparations, our focus remains steadfast on delivering a budget that fosters growth, development, and opportunities for all," Ato Forson stated.

With expectations high, the Ghanaian public and business community are looking forward to a budget that addresses pressing economic challenges.

Among the key areas of concern are: Lower tax burden, higher growth: Business owners, particularly SMEs, are hoping for corporate tax reductions and simpler tax filing processes to free up resources for reinvestment, job creation, and market expansion.
